Envelon Polymeric Vinyl Coatings provide protection in two ways; by forming tough, flexible films with extremely low water-vapor transmission rates, they stop substrate corrosion caused by electolytic action or the presence of water-borne oxygen. In addition, the usually thick film provides physical protection against surface damage and abrasion and have proven that they provide a high degree of protection against acid and alkali atack. Envelon Polymeric Vinyls have been stabilized to retain colour, gloss and extreme flexibility even with prolonged exposure to sunlight and harsh environmental attack, and because the colour is an integral part of the plastic coating, there is less tendency to fade.
